Offshore, Nearshore & Onshore

Survey services built around real field conditions.

THI combines marine geophysical acquisition, offshore geotechnical drilling, seabed investigation, nearshore platforms, land-based crews, and technical reporting into practical survey scopes.

Offshore drilling operation on vessel deck
01 / Offshore

Marine geophysical & offshore geotechnical execution

High-resolution seismic, geophysical acquisition, drilling, CPT, sampling, and seabed investigation support.

Nearshore survey barge operation
02 / Nearshore

Barge-supported shallow water investigation

Land-based field survey and site support

Ground investigation, environmental field activity, and project site preparation support.

Project support

Practical survey planning, shaped by the condition of each site.

Before mobilization, THI reviews the water depth, soil target, site access, equipment spread, crew requirement, and reporting format. From there, the team connects the right survey method with a field plan that is realistic to execute and clear for the client to follow.

MarineDownhole investigation, seabed work, and geophysical acquisition for offshore decisions.

NearshoreShallow-water investigation arranged around access, draft, tides, and working platform needs.

OnshoreLand-based geotechnical and environmental field work prepared around ground condition and site logistics.

SupportEquipment readiness, field crew, data handling, and reporting workflow tied into one execution plan.

Assets & Equipment

Operational support selected around each survey method.

Vessels, nearshore platforms, drilling systems, geophysical equipment, and field crews are prepared around the site condition and technical requirement of each project.

Soil testing and documentation

Soil & Geotechnical Laboratory

The soil and geotechnical laboratory capability is presented in collaboration with PT Hydrocore. It supports sample handling, basic and advanced soil testing, rock testing, controlled storage, and ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory workflow.

Basic Lab Test

  • Soil classification: moisture content, Atterberg limits, sieve and hydrometer, linear shrinkage, specific gravity, and organic content.
  • Soil chemical and corrosivity: pH, electrical resistivity, carbonate, sulfate, chloride, and salinity on extracted pore water.
  • Oedometer, permeability, mini lab vane, unconfined compression, UU/CD direct shear, UU triaxial, CiU/CiD triaxial, and rock strength testing.

Advanced Lab Test

  • X-Ray CT Scan, CRS consolidation, thixotropy, static simple shear, and cyclic simple shear.
  • Bender element and resonant column testing for advanced soil behavior assessment.
  • Humidity and temperature controlled storage room with capacity for 300 samples.

The most advanced and complete soil laboratory, ISO/IEC 17025 accredited.
